Cara Davis

Cara Davis joined BioCryst Pharmaceuticals in 2015 and is currently a Global Product Team Leader, supporting the hereditary angioedema (HAE) program. Prior to this role, Cara supported BioCryst in a variety of functions including R&D, Project Management, and Supply Chain. Before joining BioCryst, Cara served in Project Management and R&D roles at Evonik Corporation. Cara received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Biomedical Engineering. While obtaining her master’s degree, Cara worked for Biological Innovations, a small biotech start-up located in the Innovation Depot in Birmingham. Cara was born and raised in the Birmingham area, and currently lives in Hoover with her husband, Matt, and their 5 year-old twins.
