Session 1: Impactful Presentations — How to Craft and Deliver your Message for Meaningful Results

Presentations play a critical role in career success whether you are in sales, marketing, product development or in a highly technical profession like accounting or information technology.  Even the most experienced subject matter experts and eloquent speakers often fall short of achieving the specific results they intended, simply due to lack of focus on the most critical fundamentals.  On the surface, the presentation may go well, but the intended purpose isn’t achieved and the opportunity is lost. In this session, participants explored practical, straightforward tips for crafting and delivering presentations geared toward achieving your desired results, whether it be speaking at a conference, conducting a webinar, pitching an idea to your boss, or explaining a technical concept to a group of non-technical stakeholders.

Session 2: C-Suite Panel

Leaders who have the desire to make it to the top of their organizations need to know how to get there. They want to understand what obstacles are in front of them and how best to avoid or overcome them. This group of executives will share what worked for them and what they’d recommend for others who want a shot at the top spots.

A seasoned C-Suite leader and Chief Information Officer, Ellen has more than 35 years of experience helping companies achieve operational and digital excellence. She began her career with Ernst &Young where she led technology initiatives in the manufacturing, distribution, engineering, and healthcare sectors. Having recently retired after 24 years as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer and Operational Excellence Officer of Motion, a premier North American industrial solutions company, Ellen currently serves as an independent board director for Crescent Electric, a leading electrical distributor and B&D Industrial, a regional industrial solutions provider. She also volunteers as a C-Suite Advisor to Bronze Valley, an early-stage venture investment platform that supports underrepresented technology innovation founders, and as a mentor for Momentum Leaders.
