Jill Deer
Jill Deer joined Brasfield & Gorrie in 2014 as Vice President of Development & Administration. Brasfield & Gorrie is one of the nation’s largest privately held construction firms. In her current role, Jill oversees the strategic planning for approximately $2.3 billion in annual construction revenues.
Prior to her association with Brasfield & Gorrie, Jill was a principal at Bayer Properties, LLC, a real estate development company, and a partner in the law firm of Burr & Forman LLP.
Jill currently serves on the Board of Directors for Renasant Corporation, a publicly traded bank holding company; Stone River Management Company, a regional real estate development company; and the YWCA of Central Alabama. She serves as a Committee Member of the United Way, and as an Elder for Independent Presbyterian Church. She previously served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alabama School of Law, as President of The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs, and on the boards of the McWane Science Center, Girls Inc., and the American Heart Association. Jill has been honored as one of the Birmingham Business Journal’s “Top 40 under 40” and as one of “Birmingham’s Top Women”.
