Major General (Retired) Lee Price

Major General N. Lee S. Price is a senior executive with 40 years of experience in information technology/cyber system, global operations and logistics, leader development, problem solving, organizational change, government procurement, and program management. She entered the Army as a Private First Class when only 2% of the Army workforce was female and retired over 38 years later as Major General. Upon her retirement in 2014, only 7 women had risen to a higher rank. She left a legacy of delivering groundbreaking technologies to U.S. Forces and supporting global military operations in multiple combat zones. As a decorated member of the US Army, she provided steadfast guidance and leadership to myriad programs valued up to $6 billion annually.

General Price’s notable firsts include: the first woman selected for General Officer while serving in Special Operations Command (2008), the first female promoted to General Officer for the Army’s Acquisition Corps (2008), and the first woman to serve as an Army Program Executive Officer (2009. Her many awards include the Combat Action Badge, the Bronze Star Medal, the Distinguished Service Medal, and the Legion of Merit.

General Price currently serves on the  Board of Directors for Southern Research Institutes and the Lakeshore Foundation.
