Marcie Lewis has over 20 years of experience as a municipal advisor with expertise in both general municipal and affordable housing advisory services to clients across the United States. Ms. Lewis was a founding member of Public FA, Inc. (“PFA”) in 2001, a municipal advisory firm focused on clients in Alabama and housing clients across the country. Ms. Lewis managed a $2 billion client base of Public Housing Authorities utilizing HUD’s Capital Fund Financing Program with PFA. In 2012, PFA merged with PFM Financial Advisors LLC (“PFM”), and she now serves as a Senior Managing Consultant with PFM. Since the merger, Ms. Lewis manages a portfolio of similar local government and affordable housing clients such as the State of Alabama, Cities of Huntsville, Mobile, and Auburn, the Boston Housing Authority and the Miami-Dade Department of Housing and Community Development.
In addition to Ms. Lewis’s work in the municipal advisory practice, she has served on several non-profit boards and steering committees, including the Low Income Housing Coalition of Alabama (“LIHCA”), the North Alabama Coalition for the Homeless (“NACH”), Enable Madison County (“Enable”) (formerly CASA), the Alabama chapter of Women in Public Finance, National Board of Women in Public Finance, Not One More Alabama (“NOMA”), the Women’s Economic Development Council (“WEDC”), and the Women in Leadership Advisory Panel with the University of North Alabama (“UNA”).
