Mary Scott Hunter
Mary Scott Hunter is general counsel at Resolution LLC, a Huntsville based company that delivers Technical, Geospatial, and Environmental Health Safety Services to customers across the United States and around the world. After graduating from law school in 1998, Mary Scott was commissioned and served ten years as a U.S. Air Force Judge Advocate General. As a military attorney she first served in the active-duty Air Force, then in the Reserve and finally in the Alabama Air National Guard. Mary Scott was elected to the Alabama State Board of Education in 2010 and reelected in 2014. She also served as a trustee for the Alabama Community College System and Athens State University. She and husband, Jon Shultz, have three children who attend Huntsville City Schools. Mary Scott enjoys community and church service, traveling with her family, reading, writing, and is co-creator and co-host of a podcast called “Belle Curve.”
