Michelle Holmes is Vice President of Content at Alabama Media Group, where she oversees the journalism of AL.com, The Birmingham News, Mobile’s Press-Register, The Huntsville Times, The Mississippi Press and Gulflive.com. She came to Alabama in 2013 after a 2011-2012 fellowship at Stanford University. She serves on the National Journalism Advisory Board at the Center for Collaborative Journalism and the Board of Visitors at the University of Alabama’s School of Communications and Information Sciences. She is a graduate of Leadership Birmingham and Poynter’s Leadership Academy and is a current member of the Momentum program.
Michelle is a panelist for Women as Advocates in Politics, Business and Community.
