Nancy Kane is Executive Vice President, Acquisitions and Corporate Development of Protective Life Corporation. She is responsible for leading the Company’s M&A activities and capital markets segment. Ms. Kane joined Protective Life as Senior Associate Counsel in 1997. Prior to joining Protective, Ms. Kane was an Associate with Debevoise and Plimpton in New York, practicing in the areas of corporate and securities law. She currently serves on the boards of the Children’s Aid Foundation, the Hispanic Interest Coalition of Alabama, Heart Gallery Alabama and Momentum, and was past Board President of Children’s Aid Society. She is also a longtime volunteer with Special Equestrians. Ms. Kane is an alumna of the Momentum Women’s Leadership Program and Leadership Birmingham. Ms. Kane earned a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Oneonta and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Yale Law School. Nancy is a member of the MAP Board of Directors and a Builder on the Honor Roll of Women’s Leadership.
