Neika Nix Morgan is a health educator for St. Vincent’s Health System where she specializes in promoting health and wellness in the lives of its more than 3,000 associates, the community, and local businesses.
In addition to her role at STHVS, Neika is an instructor for Shelton State Community College and teaches undergraduate classes in health, stress management, and the application of fitness and exercise. She has served as a personal trainer for the University of Alabama’s Recreation Center since 2005 working with all ages and fitness levels, and was the trainer for the University’s Crimson Cabaret Dance Team for three years. Neika is also a certified CPR instructor for the American Heart Association and American Red Cross, and was named AHA’s “Social Media Volunteer of the Year” in 2015.
Neika holds a bachelor’s degree in communication and master’s degree in health promotion and education from the University of Alabama.
