Patti Rice

A native of Pennsylvania, Patti first moved to Alabama as a member of The University of Alabama Gymnastics Team. She graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1985 with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing. After working in sales and trade marketing for Procter & Gamble and Kraft Foods, she went on to earn an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business. She then spent time consulting to Fortune 500 companies as well as small organizations. Patti also served as Director of the MBA Program at The University of Alabama. In 1998, Patti co-founded Hands On Birmingham, a non-profit agency whose purpose is to connect willing volunteers to various needs throughout the greater Birmingham metropolitan area. In 2000, Patti was recognized as one of Birmingham’s “Top 40 under 40.” In 2009, she received the Community Service Award from the Procter & Gamble Global Alumni Association at the bi-annual conference in Rome, Italy. In 2015, Patti was one of ten women honored with the United Way of Central Alabama DIVAS (Developing Initiatives and Values Among Sisters) Bold Move awards. She is currently Director of Communications for MedManagement, LLC and Mom of two teenage daughters.
