Shaundrika Edwards

Shaundrika Edwards is a native of Montgomery, Alabama. She came to the Huntsville area over 20 years ago to attend college and never looked back.
She holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Troy University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH).
Shaundrika has earned various accolades throughout her career path in the Huntsville area. In 2012, Shaundrika was recognized by her employer, Systems, Products, and Solutions, as a Rising Star within the company. In 2017, she was considered an aspiring young professional at PPG Aerospace traveling to various plants leading process improvement initiatives. In addition, Shaundrika was selected as a participant for the 2019 City of Huntsville Mayor’s Leadership Program. She has a proven track record for exceptional business practices and employee engagement supporting both the employee and the employer impacting the overall success of the organization.
For the past 13 years, Shaundrika has utilized her excellent organizational development and communication skills to enhance daily operations in various industries to include: government contracting, manufacturing, and City government. She is skilled in customer service and fostering positive relationships both internal and external to the organization. Shaundrika has not only delivered value added support and solutions to the City but also to the employees throughout the departments.
Shaundrika’s life does not just revolve around business. She has a loving husband of 14 years, Coach Tremaine Edwards, and two beautiful daughters, Makenzie (11) and Laiyah (7) who keep her busy when not at City Hall. It is essential for her to maintain a work-life balance; therefore, she prioritizes time with family.
