Tina Davis is a Northrop Grumman employee serving as Sentinel program Senior Software Engineering Manager.  Her responsibilities include leading the Enterprise Software team in the implementation of a DevSecOps (DSO) enabled environment, ensuring compliance with government and program software requirements, and related project management supporting the US Air Force (USAF), including management of as Cost Account Manager (CAM) for the program software budget.  She joined the Sentinel program in November 2020.

Prior to joining Sentinel, Tina served as the Program Execution Lead for the Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) program supporting the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).  She led the Agile Transformation activities, which included proposing and implementing lean-agile practices throughout the enterprise and providing training support to both local program and those across the Defense Systems Division.  Tina was also appointed as Deputy Chief Architect for approximately a year to meet growing needs of the program.

Tina’s pre-NGC ~20-year career was spent serving NASA. She started out as a software engineer and served in various technical and people leadership positions over the years, including operations, software engineering, and quality assurance management.  Tina led one of the largest portfolio management projects for the Marshall Space Flight Center ((MSFC) Chief Information Office (CIO).  Her team successfully reduced the application portfolio by consolidating over 25 disjointed, customized applications into a single service management system with a functional Configuration Management Database (CMDB).  This team received a prestigious NASA Achievement Award for their efforts.

Tina graduated from Athens State University with a Computer Science degree and has always had a passion for mentoring and thus has achieved her Project Management Professional (PMP) and several agile certifications, including the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Program Consultant (SPC).  She has used these certifications during her time with NGC to provide training as needed to multiple programs across the company and is an active in the NGC mentoring program.  Tina also serves as a board member for the local Employee Resource Group (ERG) Northrop Grumman Women’s International Network (NGWIN) chapter chartered to inspire women to lead, succeed, and excel both personally and professionally.
