Vickie Saxon

Vickie Saxon is Senior Vice President Enterprise Resources at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama.  She is responsible for all aspects of Human Resources, Facilities Operations, Quality Management and Plan Performance and the Business Consulting Division.  Vickie has been with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama for 31 years.  She has over 25 years experience in Human Resources.

Human Resource responsibilities include Payroll, Training and Development, Associate Service Center, Corporate Staffing, Associate Health, Benefit Administration, and Compensation.

Facilities Operations responsibilities include Physical Security, Print Shop/Warehouse, Facilities Development, Corporate Food Services, Data Center Maintenance, and Facilities Maintenance.

Business Consulting provides project management, business analysis and web analytics services to facilitate the success of enterprise level activities.  This area also provides the facilitation and support necessary to manage the corporate strategy process which includes Dynamic and Long Term Strategy, Enterprise Risk Management and Enterprise Project Portfolio Management.

The Quality Management and Plan Division monitors and evaluates the services delivered to members to improve the quality of care.

Vickie graduated from Jacksonville State University with two degrees, a BS in Accounting and Management.  Vickie is an alumnus of the Momentum Women’s Leadership Program.  She is President-Elect of the Momentum Alumni Program Board.  She serves as a Board member of Aldridge Gardens, the Jacksonville State University Foundation Board and the Alabama Governor’s School Leadership Council.

Vickie is a panelist for Understanding Succession Planning, Mentoring and Sponsoring.
