Ashlyn Watkins

Ashlyn Watkins, born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, is a Marketing Business Partner at Southern Veterinary Partners (SVP), where she has had the opportunity to work and grow over the past two years. Before SVP, Ashlyn has held various professional roles, ranging from public relations and advertising agencies to nonprofits. With a strong foundation in communications, she graduated from Mississippi State University with a BA in Communications and a dual concentration in Public Relations and Broadcast. Outside of her professional endeavors, Ashlyn has taken on several leadership positions and looks forward to gaining more experience and opportunities in the future.
Ashlyn has always had a passion for dance and all things creative. This passion has driven her to work in the performing arts world, where she continues to teach and contribute to the arts community. Valuing community and collaboration along with supporting others, she also expresses creativity in the kitchen. Known for making cookies and cakes, Ashlyn delights in baking for loved ones’ birthdays and special occasions, seeing it as a heartfelt way to show her love for those around her. In her free time, Ashlyn also enjoys spending time with her dog, Marnie, attending concerts and shows, being active, and going fast in anything with an engine (need for speed, should we say?)
