Momentum is excited to announce our new home in the vibrant Switch District of downtown Birmingham. Located in the Nextec building, this thoughtfully designed space reflects the future of leadership development—featuring flexible meeting areas, intentional gathering spaces, and a dedicated training room where all of our classes will be hosted. Enhanced AV capabilities will also allow us to expand our virtual programming. This move positions us to better serve our community, deepen connections, and extend Momentum’s impact both in Birmingham and beyond.
With this increased space comes increased opportunity—and increased need. As we grow to serve more women and expand our impact, we invite our community to grow with us.

Expanding the Mission: North and Central Alabama Growth
Momentum is strategically expanding its mission to meet the distinct needs of women across Alabama’s growing regions. In Huntsville, where a high concentration of STEM industries creates both opportunity and barriers, Momentum is focused on increasing access through scholarships and expanding awareness of free resources—ensuring more women can participate in leadership programs, mentorship, and training critical to advancing in male-dominated fields.
At the same time, in Montgomery, Momentum is laying the groundwork for long-term impact by offering workshops and intentional community-building opportunities—creating connection points for women leaders today while cultivating demand and relationships that will support expanded programming in the future.
Together, these efforts reflect Momentum’s broader vision: meeting women where they are, removing barriers to access, and building strong, locally rooted leadership ecosystems across the state.

The Network is a collective of leaders in both North Alabama and Central Alabama who are investing in women’s advancement, each contributing $1,000 or more annually. As a giving circle, members pool resources to accelerate Momentum’s mission. Members are passionate about fueling leadership, expanding opportunity, and creating lasting impact. Together, they are more than donors; they are a connected force shaping the future.
Members gather quarterly for optional events designed to inspire connection and insight. Through meaningful conversations and updates on Momentum’s work, they engage in ways that fit their lives while remaining part of a dynamic, purpose-driven community.
