Carlisha Harris

Carlisha Harris is an early career program and operations leader committed to building equitable systems across education, workforce, and nonprofit ecosystems. As Catalyze Birmingham Specialist at Prosper, she leads the day to day execution of the Catalyze Birmingham Challenge, a regional grant initiative supporting career connected learning for youth. In this role, Carlisha oversees approximately $1.4 million in awarded grant funding across a portfolio of 8 current and alumni grantee organizations, stewarding relationships with funded partners, applicants, and national collaborators while translating strategy into action.

Alongside her full time role, Carlisha maintains a long standing commitment to Women Under Construction Network, where she serves as IT Coordinator and Administrative Assistant to the Founder and CEO, providing sustained technology, communications, and operational support to strengthen organizational capacity. Previously, she served as Programs and Client Relations Manager at the Alabama MBDA Business Center, operated by Walker’s Legacy, where she supported minority owned businesses through programming, data systems, and operational innovation. While at the MBDA center, she developed CarliBot, a technology driven intake and assessment tool designed to support scalable service delivery. Carlisha holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Sciences from Miles College, where she graduated valedictorian, and she is a Miles College 50 Under 50 Alumni Award honoree. Her leadership is grounded in service, systems building, and long term community investment in Birmingham.
