Momentum Leaders is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Events & Program Coordinator to provide vital support to the Director of Programs, Central Alabama. At 40 hours per week, this full-time role is ideal for a highly organized and motivated individual passionate about advancing women in leadership. The Events & Program Coordinator will assist with program logistics, community outreach, and event execution, contributing to the seamless delivery of Momentum’s high-impact leadership programs and events.
A strong commitment to Momentum’s mission, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are critical for success in this role. Experience in project management, event planning, or program logistics is highly desirable.

Winter, Spring, Summer Interns

Momentum interns gain valuable experience working with our team to execute Momentum’s strategic plan to advance women in leadership and expand our programs and services throughout the state. Depending on educational focus and experience, the intern will be assigned special projects related to their area of study. Interns have the possibility for exposure to and/or skill development in many areas such as non-profit management, Marketing/PR, research, social media, surveys, fund development, special events, mentoring and leadership development classes.
12-20 hours per week in our offices at Pepper Place. Course credits may be earned and some compensation would be considered for the right candidate/level of experience.
