Angie Noel is the director of Shoreline, Sales and Leasing for the Corporate Real Estate department of Alabama Power Company. She leads the strategy, oversight and execution of all land-related sales, leasing, legal and site development activities performed on behalf of Alabama Power Company and Alabama Property Company. She is also responsible for all land related activities pertaining to Alabama Power’s lakes and in support of Alabama Power’s Hydroelectric Operations and FERC Licenses.
Angie joined Alabama Power in 2008 as a project manager in Power Contracts. Having developed a passion for real estate while in law school, she joined the Corporate Real Estate department in 2010, where she has progressed through several leadership roles.
Prior to joining Alabama Power, Angie was an attorney at Maynard, Cooper and Gale, P.C. and was a member of the Real Estate and Commercial Lending practice groups. She represented lenders and borrowers in secured and unsecured transactions, drafting and negotiating loan documents, real estate security and transfer documents, and conducting all aspects of due diligence in the acquisition and disposition of real property.
Angie attended the University of Alabama where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance in 2002. She also attended the University of Alabama School of Law, graduating summa cum laude with a Juris Doctorate degree in 2005.
Angie serves on the board of directors of Women’s Business League, a non- profit faith-based organization which supports women in the Birmingham marketplace through mentoring relationships, small groups and community outreach events. She lives in Birmingham and has two children, Evie and Harris.
