Anna Mitchell

Anna Mitchell is a native of Huntsville, Alabama, living in the same neighborhood as generations before her. As a professional, these roots provide the foundation for my passion to contribute to my community in a meaningful way through planning and design. From an early age, Anna knew she wanted to work in the design field, but it wasn’t until she started work with 4Site that she knew she wanted to focus on landscape architecture. After 4Site was acquired by Schoel, she pursued her master’s degree in landscape architecture from Auburn University. Working for Schoel over the last ten years, she has had the privilege of being on design teams for many projects of different sizes within the community, including John Hunt Park Kid’s Space and U.S. Space and Rocket Center’s Rocket Park. Her future goals are to use my design knowledge to generate a better understanding of what landscape architecture is and what it can offer the community through more community outreach.
