Carlee Sanford Malone

Carlee is the Executive Director of Community Impact at EBSCO Industries, overseeing charitable giving focused on education and the environment in Alabama. Previously, she led Ruffner Mountain out of $1.3 million in debt and realigned programs to its mission. That work evolved into a broader eff ort to address the fragmented management of large-acreage parks across Jefferson County. She led the consolidation of Ruffner, Red Mountain Park, and Turkey Creek into the Jefferson County Greenways, creating a unified model for stewardship. Carlee lives in Birmingham with her husband and two dogs and spends weekends exploring Alabama’s trails and waterways.
