Carly Alcala

Carly Alcala attended Maryville College in East Tennessee and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a Minor in English. Since then, Carly has gone on to lead a fulfilling career that has involved working with a diverse clientele. Her experience includes communications, writing, project management, content management, and marketing. In her current role as Corporate Communications Manager at COLSA, she leads all internal and external communications strategies to increase employee engagement and brand awareness. This includes interfacing with the c-suite to help communicate their most important initiatives to key stakeholders, working with vendors for collateral and event planning, and finding and sharing employee stories. However, she finds the most fulfillment in collaborating with her small, creative team to create strategic communications plans.
