Carol Maxwell

Carol joined Vulcan Materials Company in 1978. She has worked over the years in various business segments of Vulcan, including the Southern and Gulf Coast Division from 1978-1979, the Metals Division from 1979 to 1984, the Chemicals Division from 1984 to 2004, and in the Corporate Community Relations Department from 2005 to present. As Manager of the Vulcan Materials Company Foundation, she is responsible for managing Vulcan’s Foundation programs in Alabama and across the Company’s footprint. She also manages Vulcan’s non-Foundation local charitable programs and oversees the daily operations of Vulcan’s political action committee. She serves as an officer of the Vulcan Materials Company Foundation and of Vulcan’s Political Action Committee.

Carol holds Board positions with Alabama People Against a Littered State (Alabama PALS), the Virginia Samford Theatre as well as Momentum.

Carol is a life-time resident of Birmingham and attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
