Charity Laister

Charity Laister is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Attorney. Ms. Laister has over fifteen years of social work experience and currently serves as the Director of Behavioral Health at Cahaba Medical Care. In her private social work practice, she develops mitigation for capital murder cases. Ms. Laister also practices family law in her private law practice. She earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree from the University of Montevallo, a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Alabama, and a Juris Doctorate from the Birmingham School of Law. Ms. Laister is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Social Work at Simmons University.
