Christa Crow Ketchum

Christa Ketchum is an experienced lawyer in the Birmingham office of Jones Walker LLP, where she is a member of the tax credit finance team. Christa draws on her extensive background in private practice and as in-house counsel to developers and title insurance companies to provide full-spectrum representation to lenders, developers and equity investors. In addition to advising clients on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, she has a particular focus on helping real-estate clients navigate complex federal and state tax incentives and tax credits, including low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) programs.

Christa received her Juris Doctorate from The University of Alabama School of Law and her undergraduate degree from The University of Alabama.

Outside of the office, Christa enjoys spending time with her husband, Michael and their two children, Courtlyn (12) and John David (9), whether at the lake, watching kids play sports, or exploring a new travel destination.  They attend Covenant Presbyterian Church and are Alabama and UAB football season ticket holders.
