Circe Starks

Circe Starks is the Southern Power compliance director. Circe is responsible for the ethics and concerns program, environmental affairs, project risk management and contract compliance. Circe holds bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering and chemistry from Tuskegee University, and master’s degrees in engineering management and environmental management from Christian Brothers University and Samford University. She has served the community as a member of Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin’s subcommittee on Social Justice and through work with the American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE). Circe is the Chair of the Executive Leadership Team for the March of Dimes fundraising campaign for 2022.
