Dana Vaughn Mayo

Spire is a prominent natural gas company, delivering reliable service to more than one million homes and businesses across the Southeast and Midwest regions of the United States. Dana Mayo serves as the Director and General Manager for Spire’s Gulf Coast region overseeing day-to-day operations of Mobile/Baldwin counties and Mississippi Field Operations.

Since joining Spire in 1993 in a customer service role, Dana has built a remarkable career within Spire, including its former subsidiary, Alabama Gas Corporation (Alagasco). Over the years, she has held diverse positions, fostering an extensive network of partnerships and connections across various industries and professions. Dana plays a vital role in expanding Spire’s presence and is deeply committed to cultivating meaningful relationships that create a positive impact both personally and professionally.

Dana holds both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Master of Business Administration from Faulkner University in Montgomery, Alabama. She also earned a Journeyman Gas Fitter’s certification from the Alabama Plumbing and Gas Fitter’s Board. Her dedication to leadership development is evident through her completion of Spire’s Fuel our Perspective program, where she mentors future participants after graduation.
