Elizabeth (Libby) Browne
Libby Browne is a seasoned HR professional with a strong passion for mentoring and leadership development. Her journey began at Vanderbilt University where she earned a BS in Human and Organizational Development, and later, an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Alabama. She has served in various HR roles at companies like Alabama Power Company, Southern Nuclear, and GE Energy, where she led initiatives in diversity and inclusion, talent management, and leadership development. At HealthSouth, she managed a leadership coaching program and developed training modules bridging generational gaps. Her work at Regions Financial Corporation during a merger was particularly rewarding as she focused on key talent retention and change management. Libby believes in creating a work environment that emphasizes knowledge sharing, employee development, and teamwork. Her commitment to these values has consistently resulted in high-performing teams and strong consultants.
Libby is actively engaged in community service, serving on the Human Resources Committee at Vestavia Hills Methodist and on the Vestavia Hills City Schools Foundation Board. Her past community involvement includes the Junior League of Birmingham and board membership at the Elizabeth Perry Rushton Child Development Center. Libby and her husband, Clayton, have two sons, Clark and Charlie, and a daughter, Martha Rose.
