Jorice Johnson McCain is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over 16 years of leadership experience spanning healthcare, government defense, and higher education. Her comprehensive expertise covers all facets of HR, from strategic planning to hands-on implementation in employee relations, regulatory compliance, and onboarding. Jorice’s strategic understanding and problem-solving skills inspire confidence in her ability to address complex HR challenges effectively.
In her role as Human Resources Partner (HRP) Generalist Lead for the Heersink School of Medicine’s Dean’s Office and Department of Medical Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), Jorice provides strategic HR support to the Dean’s Office and acts as a critical liaison for 28 departments and 40 centers and institutes across the largest school on the UAB campus.
Jorice holds a Bachelor of Science in Management from UAB and is pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration. Her commitment to continuous learning is not only a personal pursuit but also a driving force in her professional life.
