Karla Wiles

Karla Wiles is a transformational leader known for her dynamic approach to change and innovation. With a career spanning over a decade at EBSCO Industries, she has been a driving force behind the company’s commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and equity through actions and continuous improvement. Joining EBSCO in 2009, Karla has played a pivotal role in educating the organization on the significance of branding, the digital space, integrated marketing, and knowing your customers.
As the Chief Talent and Communications Officer at EBSCO Industries since May 2023, Karla is responsible for creating a people-focused learning organization and is guiding EBSCO’s efforts toward creating a talent advantage. Additionally, she is responsible for shaping communications, branding, and marketing; and strengthening the company’s shared services strategies. Her past agency and retail experience, coupled with her creative thinking and future-forward approach, has enabled her to bring both seasoned expertise and a fresh perspective to navigating change and leading business.
Currently serving on The Board of Directors for Momentum and The Bell Center and supporting United Way through longstanding involvement – her commitment to excellence extends beyond the corporate world as she strives to make a positive impact in the community.
