Kelli Holmes

Kelli Johnson Holmes is the Associate Vice President for Philanthropy at Jacksonville State University, where she leads strategies for University Philanthropy, Marketing and Communications, and Alumni Engagement. With 25 years of combined experience, Kelli is known for her collaborative leadership, ability to translate growth goals into impactful results, and her passion for building strategic partnerships that strengthen relationships and drive success.
Kelli previously served as Executive Director of Advancement at the University of Montevallo and as an Adjunct Professor of Marketing in the Michael E. Stephens College of Business. Her career includes successful fundraising campaigns, innovative marketing initiatives, and authentic engagement with key stakeholders.
A Pelham native, Kelli earned her B.A. in Communications from Jacksonville State, a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management from UAB, and an MBA from Montevallo. She volunteers with organizations focused on economic development, mental health and child welfare. Kelli lives in Helena with her family.
