Kimberly Smith
Kimberly Smith serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine and the Director of Evaluation for the Center for Clinical and Translational Science at UAB. She also serves as the Coach Safely Foundation’s Director of Research Development & Analytics. She completed her PhD in Research, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment and holds an M.S. in Educational Research Studies, an M.A. in Human Performance with a concentration in Exercise Physiology, and a B.S. in Health Promotion. Throughout her career, she has developed expertise in applying evaluation models and research methodologies to various initiatives across multiple disciplines focused on advancing patient-centered approaches and health outcomes applicable in healthcare settings across the state. In her spare time, Kimberly likes to spend time with family and friends, and do DIY projects – anything from crafting to home renovations.
