Lauryn Chisem

As a University of Alabama graduate with a strong background in hospitality and event management. Lauryn holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in hospitality management and brings hands-on experience supporting weddings, private parties, corporate events, and sports-related events, with a focus on coordinating logistics, managing participant and client communication, and ensuring seamless execution from planning through post-event wrap-up. She always had an interest in events ever since she was a kid and was excited at the opportunity to pursue that career professionally. Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Lauryn moved to Tuscaloosa to pursue her education at The University of Alabama and is proud to have returned to her hometown to continue building her professional career. She is passionate about creating well-organized, meaningful, and inclusive experiences that bring people together and support community-focused and leadership-driven programming. With a detail-oriented approach and a collaborative mindset, Lauryn enjoys working alongside teams and partners to deliver high-quality events that align with organizational goals and create lasting impact. She is driven by her commitment to service, creativity, and professional excellence, and looks forward to continuing to grow in her new role as our Program & Events Coordinator.
