Session: Unlocking Your Power Through Connection
As women, we often take care of everyone else before considering what we need. Often, this can leave us looking successful on the outside, but feeling empty on the inside. Connecting with other women leaders and building strong relationships is critical not only for our own well-being, but also for our career success. The pandemic hit women especially hard—we were pushed to our limits and while it was hard, it highlighted some of our basic needs, one being connection. As we move forward, building and cultivating strong connections with other women leaders is key to both our personal and professional success. In this presentation, Dr. Fry gave insight from real stories and empirical research focused on the power of connection and how building relationships helps us create collective purpose and achieve more than we can imagine.
