Shipra Verma

Shipra Verma is the Manager of Enterprise Applications at EBSCO Industries. She moved to Birmingham from India 20 years ago after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from KNIT, Sultanpur, India. With nearly two decades of experience across various companies, she has developed strong expertise in supporting and managing critical enterprise systems. She joined EBSCO 14 years ago and was promoted to a management role from a senior technical leader position.

At EBSCO, she oversees the Enterprise Applications team, managing essential systems that are crucial for the smooth operation of the business. Beyond her professional responsibilities, she is actively involved in the community, having volunteered with various organizations and schools. Notably, she served as the Vice President of Communications for the Math Team at Vestavia Hills High School for two years.

Her husband is also an IT professional, and they have two daughters, aged 18 and 12.
