Whitney Swinney

Whitney Swinney was born in Huntsville, AL. A lifelong resident of Monrovia, Whitney is a graduate of Sparkman High School and member of Sparkman’s first fast pitch Softball State Championship team and earned a B.S. in Business Administration from The University of Alabama-Huntsville. As a member of the UAH Chargers Softball team from 2007-10, Whitney played in four NCAA tournaments competing in the Division II National Championship game in 2009. Post graduation, Whitney returned to Sparkman as an assistant coach for two seasons winning another State Championship in 2012. Whitney grew up in a family of general contractors. Her grandfather founded Bobby Schrimsher & Sons General Contractors in 1965 and her father established Whitney Construction, Inc. in 1987, both still in operation today. Currently Whitney works for GFiber as the Real Estate Partnerships Lead after working for both WOW! and Comcast previously. Whitney enjoys spending time with her husband, Justin and being a bonus mom to their daughters Kinley and Morgan.
