Rebecca K. Kelly, PhD, RD is an executive, educator, international author and consultant on building and sustaining healthy workforces. She has over 25 years of hands-on experience in designing and delivering signature health and wellness programs that have successfully reduced health care costs, improved productivity, and resulted in a positive return on investment. Combining her skills as a registered dietitian and exercise physiologist, Rebecca launched Element Health, Inc. in 1991, a clinical nutrition and corporate wellness consulting firm based in Birmingham, AL with national presence. In addition, she has served as the wellness architect for numerous organization’s health and well-being programs to include American Cast Iron Pipe Company, O’Neal Industries, and the University of Alabama’s WellBAMA program. In 2014, Rebecca received the first-ever Heart of HERO Award recognizing the nation’s top health and wellness director. Rebecca completed her doctorate and master’s degrees from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She completed her dietetic internship at Indiana University Medical Center and received a bachelor of science degree in nutrition and food science graduating with highest honors from Auburn University. She also served as a faculty member for The University of Alabama for over a decade. In addition, Rebecca serves as a fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as well as the current Chair for the Academy’s Council of Future Practice. She is a 2019 graduate of Momentum. Her biggest joy is bringing health and harmony to the lives of others.
