Last week, Momentum Leaders hosted 750 leaders for Impact Day 2025 at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Birmingham. The day began with an inspirational keynote from Alyson Van Hooser, followed by a transformational workshop with Tonya Hill Mitchell. The day concluded with the Woman of Impact awards luncheon and networking. Attendees left inspired, motivated, and equipped to create infinite impact.

Momentum’s Impact Day was a newly introduced event that expanded Momentum’s previous leadership breakfast, providing more women with valuable opportunities for learning and growth. The event successfully made room for over 300 additional attendees. More than 90% of all attendees have never been through a Momentum program and nearly 300 experienced their first-ever Momentum event.
“I absolutely loved both speakers. I took copious notes on how to become a better leader for others and how to be unbridled and bold in my purpose.”- Impact Day Attendee
Momentum’s Woman of Impact Award honors Alabama women leaders who do extraordinary work to positively impact lives of others in the community, business, culture or politics. The honorees are truly distinguished women leaders who have a lifetime of accomplishments in the service of others. This year’s honorees were Bobby Bradley, Judge Agnes Chappell, and Dr. Cameron Vowell. You can read more about past honorees here.
“This is my first time at a Momentum event, and I will be back. From breakfast, to the speakers, to the networking, it has been such a beneficial opportunity to be a part of.”- Impact Day Attendee
Our team is honored to have hosted this event, uniting women from diverse sectors across Alabama and beyond. We hope each attendee left feeling inspired, empowered, and connected by the incredible women in the room. Together, we can continue to create lasting impact beyond this day.
Momentum extends its deepest thanks to our partners and sponsors who made it all possible.
