MOMENTUM kicked off its 12th class of women leaders at the Harbert Center on Wednesday, September 17th. Over lunch, Dr. Alison Grizzle, 2014 Alabama Teacher of the Year, spoke to the new class and to many MOMENTUM alums and advisors about leadership issues and how the business sector can partner with and support the education sector.
“Real leaders grow other leaders and showcase their work,” Grizzle said. After the luncheon, the new class of 27 outstanding Alabama women leaders attended an orientation and 2 day retreat. Their first session, “Opening Your Gift Box”, is October 16th , hosted by Regions Financial Corporation in its downtown corporate office.
